As part of the technical support team, you’ll be responsible for making a significant impact on our technical support provision by delivering the highest quality service to our customers offering support & advice on our range of products.

Working within our UK Head Office you will have the opportunity to join the Technical Support Team, within this role you will be assisting our customers via telephone, email and Live Chat offering trouble shooting & technical advice on our range of CCTV and Smart Home products

Responsibilities:

  • Remotely connecting to trouble shoot customers equipment to diagnose and resolve product problems
  • Support customers with remotely conducting firmware updates to equipment.
  • Assist customers with configuration and set-up issues on a range of analogue and IP CCTV cameras, recorders and other associated equipment
  • Support our sales team with technical information on any compatibility queries
  • Maintain and update records of activities into the support computer system and passing on feedback to relevant teams/departments
  • Conduct and assist with new product testing and evaluations
  • Work as a team player sharing experiences and knowledge gained with input into a central knowledge base to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Provide support or assistance with customer demonstrations/training
  • Provide support and training for other areas of the business on technical matters

Skills Required

  • Proven customer service experience on the telephone and electronic communication
  • Calm approach, enthusiastic with a positive attitude
  • Understanding the basics of IP network setup
  • Experienced with computer packages MS Office, SAP
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience with Analogue and IP CCTV an advantage
  • Full training will be provided
