CCTV Operator - Alarm Receiving Operator - Days & Nights
Pure Monitoring and is the UK's most Accredited Monitoring Station. With extensive experience within the security and CCTV industry, we've been offering CCTV and Alarm monitoring since 2014. We're looking for qualified individuals to join the team at our monitoring centre in Hilsea, Portsmouth.
The Role: CCTV Operator -Alarm Receiving Operator - Days & Nights
As an Alarm Receiving Operator you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls to the alarm receiving centre, monitoring customer alarms, CCTV and communicating with customer key contacts regarding their alarms.
Key Responsibilities: CCTV Operator - Alarm Receiving Operator - Days & Nights
- Alarm handling and CCTV Operating on our bespoke software
- PC data entry and basic administration duties
- Edit and handle customer records
- Follow procedures methodically and uphold excellent standards
- Deal with customer requests via telephone and email in a professional nature
- Monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and the codes of practice.
- Liaise with Police, other agencies, and designated employees to coordinate the appropriate emergency response by risk assessment and adherence to company procedures.
- Provide routine system support to all clients i.e. system testing, administering alarm configurations
- Participate in departmental administrative duties when needed
- Report all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format
- Provide a courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
- Ensure smooth handovers between operators
Your Skills and Experience: CCTV Operator - Alarm Receiving Operator - Days & Nights
- Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Good organisation and efficiency with the ability to multi-task
- Exceptional concentration, good attention to detail and possess excellent customer service skills
- Professional with the ability to work under pressure and remain calm, using good judgemental skills
- SIA CCTV Licence is an advantage, but not essential
- Full Training will be given - *completion of training modules can be achieved within 6 months

The Role: Social Media & Digital Content Executive
As the Social Media & Digital Content Executive you will be hands-on and bring our brand to life across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Social Media & Digital Content Executive
- Create, capture and produce dynamic short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
- Edit video content with a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and platform trends
- Design eye-catching social graphics and visual assets aligned with our brand identity
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content across key platforms
- Take ownership of our social media presence and shape how our brand shows up online. From concept to execution, you’ll create compelling content that cuts through the noise
- Identify trends early and turn them into creative, brand-relevant content
- Monitor social campaigns performance and optimise content based on insights and analytics
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support campaigns and launches
- Ensure all content reinforces PureTech’s brand voice, messaging, and positioning
Skills & Experience: Social Media & Digital Content Executive
- Proven experience managing social media and creating digital content
- Strong video shooting and editing skills using both mobile and/or professional equipment , advantageous but essential
- Proficiency in video editing tools, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar
- Graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite
- Good understanding of social media platforms and what performs well on each
- Confident working in a fast-paced, content-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Able to own and grow a brand’s social presence
- Work well within a team that values innovation and fresh thinking
