1 Tb S300 drives are CMR technology which is OK for old and new recorders.
Be aware that all S300 drives from 2 Tb upwards are SMR technology. If you don't know what that is then don't put them in older recorders. Only new recorders with Quota Recording will set SMR drives up correctly. !!!!
All S300 Pro drives are CMR which is compatible across old recorders.
